It is with the greatest regret we have to inform you that our extraordinary leader and friend Mr. Friedrich von Dalwigk has suddenly passed away at the age of 35 years on 14 September, 2009.
This is an immense monumental loss for Analyticon Biotechnologies AG and Biocon GmbH, but is also an unspeakable loss for his family and those nearest to him.
Friedrich was a wonderful person, who gave all for his family, friends and his company. He was extremely caring, inspiring, generous, and our hearts are now chattered in bits.
Friedrich was a driven true entrepreneur, who after the acquisition of Analyticon in 2007 devoted his life to build a sustainable business and has done wonders in his two years of leadership. His strong vision and belief to create a high performing organization has been a great inspiration to all of us.
Friedrichs vision of Analyticon was to develop the company to a world leader within routine diagnostics and we believe the best way to remember our great leader and friend is to continue the exciting journey he envisioned and set-up. This journey has just started and we know that Friedrich wants us to continue our global strive in the diagnostic field and to live our lives as best as we could.
He always made his presence known and there are few who came into contact with him that do not have a lasting memory of his winning personality. Friedrich was a role model to us all, loyal to his vision and his highest ethical standards.
But now also in the heavy sorrow we feel truly privileged and honored to have had the opportunity to get to know and work with him and capture his advice and moments of insights. Friedrich was always happy, an excellent listener with an exceptional ability to get things done and he leaves us with the warmest memories.
Friedrich will always be in our hearts and we still feel his presence. We see his smile and hear his voice. We will carry Friedrich within us and that gives us strength to move on.
Friedrichs legacy is immortal and will always testify the greatness of his exceptional qualities and to his ground-breaking accomplishments.
The company will as of immediate effect be run by his father Dr. Reinhard von Dalwigk and Wolfgang Meyer.
